Policies
The Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council is currently reviewing and refining its internal policies and procedures as part of its commitment to good governance and better outcomes for our community.
The new policies will give council employees a clear direction about their roles and responsibilities and ultimately, will help achieve more efficient and effective delivery of services to our people.
These policies can only work for our community when they are well understood and followed. The council continues to work with our staff and community to ensure they are aware of the polices and why they are necessary to make the council operate better for everyone.
